Jeff & Kathy Iverson have experienced some disorder over the past two years. Jeff had to close his business, which he had worked hard at over the past twenty years, due to some poor choices of a business partner.
With the loss of a job and an identity as a business owner, Jeff was unemployed for the first time since before he and Kathy were married.
It was because of a good friend that Jeff and Kathy came to Rustic Hills. “I truly believe God used him to reach out to us. I cannot begin to tell you about all the difficult times we’ve faced together over our married life but the last two years have been very difficult. We are still recovering from the past events that took place. We have a ways to go but God has helped us, kept our marriage and our family strong through the whole time.” Jeff shares.
When asked what drew them back to Rustic Hills they talk about how friendly people are, and how they enjoyed the messages. “The Rustic Hills atmosphere is very inviting and friendly. Pastor Mike’s messages are easy to follow along with and he sticks with what’s in the scriptures.”
Jeff shared that the most memorable thing that God has done in their lives since coming to Rustic Hills was, “Finding employment with Lutheran Social Services, renewing our faith and our marriage has gotten stronger.”
Take some time this month to say, “Hi!” to Jeff & Kathy Iverson and welcome them to Rustic Hills.
