Synopsis: The needs of the missing always take precedence over the needs of the ones not missing! The heart, will, purpose and attitude of God Himself—His passion, desire and purpose is that the lost should be found.

Synopsis: We will be slaves to anyone and everyone if we are in debt. We can only have the hope, freedom and abundant life that Jesus intends for us, when we intentionally and vigorously go about getting out of debt.

Synopsis: Generously passing God’s stuff along and around is the ongoing attitude that protects us from the grasping, inward danger of the spiritual stronghold, Mammon. This generous attitude is different from tithing, which is a foundation of faith, an honoring of God, and the first step in having protection from Mammon.

Synopsis: A wise person saves and a foolish person spends everything they have. The wise person stores up something to see them through difficult times, but the foolish person just spends and spends their way through life with no plan. We can’t live like everyone else in the world, if we want to live according to God’s principles.

Synopsis: The big lie about money, time, or talents is that we own them. The Mine Myth leads to spiritual emptiness. Everything in our lives is to be managed for God and in harmony with His ways. Those who call themselves Christians are to be stewards of what God entrusts to our care. God will hold us accountable for how we manage His resources. We look more and more like Christians when we are giving, serving, and sharing the resources of God. You and I need to give; it is very powerful food for our souls.

Synopsis: The most important part of life is that which contributes to eternal assets – everything else is just smoke and mirrors. If we do not understand this, our whole ability to see and understand is darkened and we fall prey to the spiritual stronghold Mammon. We can live lives free of worry and anxiety because God loves us.

Synopsis: We cannot live like everyone else and experience real life and living. But real life and living belongs to us when we live in the reality of our future hope, rather than looking to the false gods, the false hopes and false promises of this dark world. When we stand firmly against the lies of this world, then Jesus is revealed.

Synopsis: Making room for Jesus means that we have to have room in our life for unexpected things. God often reveals Himself in the unexpected ways. Jesus revealed Himself as a small baby in a manger, then as a conquering king who rode into town on a donkey, and then through a humiliating, bloody death on a cross.

Synopsis: Making room for Jesus means that we begin to see some of the things that Jesus sees. Jesus sees people all around that are ripe and ready for Him! Jesus sees people all around who are ready to receive Him, choose Him, find new life in Him.
