More than 50 ladies

                                                                attended a state

                                                                WCG  meeting in

Marion, South Dakota reports pastor, Lila Clay. “It was

excellent, a good time of personal reflection and prayer,”

noted one member, “I have never attended a session like

that before it was very unique.,” said another.

Pastor Bill Haskins and the people of West

Baraboo Church of God in Baraboo, Wisconsin

have been talking for some time about adding

property to expand their facility. There was a

lot next to their location that was empty, but it

was priced beyond their ability. They determined

that they would enter into an extended season of

fasting and prayer regarding the situation. Over several months they

continued to seek God about their situation.

As they prayed, another property opened up in another location. But it didn’t seem like the right move to them. After they decided that the new property was not the correct one, the price on the property next to their building came down. Then a man from the neighborhood (not someone from their church) came and offered to loan them $70,000 at 4% interest if they wanted to buy the vacant property they were after. Then he offered them $80,000. Now it is an interest free loan.

The church is in the process of purchasing the needed lot now. God provided for their needs in very unexpected ways. The people of West Baraboo Church of God attribute God’s grace to being willing to fast and pray as long as it would take to hear God’s clear voice.
